Clean hotel, I enjoyed very attentive and knowledgeable staff. The continental breakfast food was good. The room was brand-new and it had a nice balcony and a storage space. That property was in a particularly good and absolutely perfect location, close to restaurants. There was Febo nearby to grab something to eat.

Actually, the hotel was being repainted, and the paint in the rooms was still wet, and the smell was very strong. I have asked the reception desk if the bathroom floor could be cleaned, and she said ok, but at night at our return that had not been done. At night I asked for the possibility of buying some instant coffe for the next morning, as there was a water boiler in the room. They didnt have any. I asked for drinks, but they also didnt have that. Next morning I had to go down, cause the phone in the room is not working, and there were no towels in the bedroom I think the hotel should have opened after the works had been done, cause things just werent finished, wich made the stay there very uncomfortable. The shower had no pressure whatsoever, and the temperature of the water was very hard to regulate, the hairdryer which was available wasnt working as there was no electrical plug installed in the bathroom yet. It was a shame ..

The staff were very helpful in explaining the tram routes.
The rooms could use some updating, particularly the bathroom fixtures.

Hotel was very clean and staff we're excellent very helpful was a bit out of they way but one tram takes you to dam square and were ever else you want though I soon realised being out Of the hustle and bustle was a good retreat. We had a room to the rear witch hav bigger balconeys and were totaly brilliant (so u could hav a smoke) you don't get many rooms with a balcony and if you smoke u will understand this. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated the beds were brilliant probably most comfortable we hav had wen away. We hav already booked it again for december as I such a good time in june hotel was excellent value for money and I don't think I wouldnt risk booking somwhere else incase my holiday was ruined by some of the rooms other hotels expect you to sleep in

The hotel was within reach of all main attractions of Amsterdam, but far out enough to not be so busy. The tram stop is within half a minute walk from the front door and is incredibly easy to use. There is bike hire available at the hotel also, but either mode of transport is recommended over driving. The staff there are superb and always willing to help. The room was welcoming, comfortable, had a balcony with a lovely view and above all was clean. The beds are so soft you sink into them, and the bathroom has a wetroom which is convenient for those who struggle getting in and out of a bath. We did not try the food there as we ate out so I cannot comment there, but breakfast price is reasonable. I also liked the in-room safe that was easy to use (instructions are on the safe) and made us feel more secure in knowing our belongings were safe.
There was nothing I disliked about the hotel, it was clean, presentable, easy to find, and the staff were fantastic. If I could think of anything to possibly improve on it would be silly things like placing milk with the tea and coffee in the room (but if you ask they get you some) and the bathroom takes a while to drain the water so it floods easily. That is not anything that can't be dealt with by brushing your foot over the water and pushing it towards the drain, and as the hotel is brand new this year it is bound to have a few small kinks that need fixing eventually. If you can get past the petty little things like that (didn't bother us at all) then you will find the Hotel Atlantis an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The hotel was brilliant! They allowed us to check in early and late. The beds/pillows were super comfy. Had a balcony as requested. Bathroom had hair dryer which was good.Staff lovely and friendly. Good location. Quiet outside.Room clean and beds made every day rubbish removed etc. Lovely modern hotel with lovely rooms. Tea/coffee left in your room each day but buy milk cause the powder sachets are terrible. Radiator can be adjusted so that was handy as it was a winter visit so the room was lovely and snuggly warm! Wi-fi was good for Samsung Galaxy 2 and Motorola Razr mobiles. Overall really enjoyed this hotel and would recommend to anyone. Trams right outside and some good places to eat too very close with a supermarket up the road!Quite a few markets close by too that you can visit. A really enjoyable and relaxing hotel to stay in.
We liked everything at the hotel except the T.V. remote was missing. Asked twice and the"technical team" were sorting it apparently. Buttons got stuck on tv so it was irritating. And bathroom was great - didn't have any issues with draining the shower etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
